Privacy Policy

ISO (“ISO,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the ISO mobile application and related websites, including isoworldapp.com. ISO is an on-demand marketplace that connects customers with photographers and videographers (“creators”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Account and profile

• Name, email address, password (stored securely by our auth provider), and role (customer or creator).
• Profile details you choose to add, such as bio, photo, rates, specialties, portfolio links, and service radius.

Location

• Approximate or precise location when you search for creators, place a booking pin, request Emergency ISO, or go online as a creator. You can revoke location access in device settings at any time.

Bookings and communications

• Shoot details, addresses, timing, budgets, chat messages, delivery links, and review notes related to a booking.

Payments

• Payments for bookings are processed by Stripe. Creator Pro subscriptions are billed by Apple through the App Store. We do not store full card numbers on ISO servers.

Device and diagnostics

• Push notification tokens, app version, device type, and crash or performance diagnostics when monitoring is enabled.

Marketing / waitlist

• If you join the mailing list on isoworldapp.com, we collect your email address and the signup source so we can send launch updates you requested.

2. How we use information

• Operate the marketplace: matching, Emergency ISO, bookings, chat, and delivery flows.
• Process payments, deposits, refunds, platform fees, and creator payouts.
• Send transactional emails and push alerts about bookings, receipts, and account security.
• Send waitlist or launch updates only if you opted in.
• Prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability and safety.
• Comply with law and respond to valid legal requests.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run ISO:

• Service providers such as Supabase (database/auth), Stripe (payments), Apple (App Store billing), email providers (e.g. Resend), and push notification services.
• Other users as required for a booking. For example, after a creator accepts a job, they may see the customer’s shoot details and address needed to complete the work.
• Legal / safety if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of ISO, our users, or the public.

4. Retention

We keep account and booking records for as long as your account is active and as needed for payouts, disputes, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Waitlist emails are retained until you ask to be removed or we sunset the list.

5. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards such as encrypted transport (HTTPS), access-controlled databases, and payment processing through certified providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Your choices and rights

• Update profile information in the app.
• Control location and notification permissions in your device settings.
• Request access, correction, or deletion of your account data by emailing support.
• Unsubscribe from marketing/waitlist emails using the instructions in those messages or by contacting us.

7. Children

ISO is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

8. International users

ISO may process information in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. By using ISO, you understand your information may be transferred to those locations.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated in-app or by email when appropriate.
